The main directions and tools of the Center:

Search and development of solutions for the industry, monitoring of what is happening with the restaurant markets of other countries, how to support the industry, what the market players themselves do, etc. information

Organizing various activities that support activities for different professions in the industry to support their spirit, mood

Conducting surveys, collecting up-to-date statistics on the industry

Legal advice. Monitoring of new regulations, their explanation and comments of lawyers, preparation of documents relevant to the industry (relations with the landlord, relations with employees).  

Organization of educational webinars

 

Organization of an online workshop for restaurateurs on the development of relevant and effective tools for solving problems by special methods with the involvement of professional moderators

Access to the materials of the Restaurateur magazine for 2016-2020: to all analytical materials, recipes, applied step-by-step instructions and documents of industry standards and norms.

Today we can state that the restaurant industry in Ukraine is on the verge of liquidation. We have no right to work, we have no right to provide for ourselves and our business. We hope that these measures have been taken by the government solely out of good intentions, and we hope that these steps will yield results in reducing the spread of the virus.

 

But you and I now need to think about what to do next, how not to let the restaurant industry in the country cease to exist. We know you are confused. We know you're scared. We know you're angry and don't know what to do next. We too!

But we still know that right now, we need to unite in order to  a favorite pastime common to all of us has survived these difficult times.

 

Therefore, we, the owners of the company Restorator Ukraine, Sergei Trakhachev and Sofia Kolomytseva, announce the formation of the All-Ukrainian Anti-Crisis Center of Restaurateurs.

We pursue two WACR global goals:

First, to unite the restaurant industry to help each other survive, to consolidate our efforts to save the industry in a period of stagnation,

Second, to convey the interests of the restaurant industry to the government.

 

The All-Ukrainian Anti-Crisis Center of Restaurateurs is established on a public non-profit basis.

The activities of the Center are temporary until the end of quarantine and return to normal life.

 

What we do:

  • We are consolidating representatives of the restaurant industry who are close to our goals

  • Together we will develop and implement a plan of anti-crisis measures in the industry, we are looking for successful cases and tools to support the industry, institutions, owners, managers, chefs, all employees.

  • We are preparing a plan for cooperation with the Government, which will help preserve the restaurant industry

 

We turn to restaurateurs. Today your business has stopped. Completely or almost completely. You face a lot of problems and have to solve them alone. We offer to do it together, so easier and more productive.

 

We turn to the Managers. It's over. It will definitely end. Today you are at the forefront, someone delivers food on a moped, someone takes orders. Today it is more important than ever to support each other, discuss, share, invent together.

 

We are addressing  to cooks. If you are still working on shipping. We are glad for you, tell us about your successes. Share your problems - together we will try to find a solution. Are you doing well and are you expanding? Let me know, many people need work now.

 

We turn to the waiters - learn, become stronger and smarter, our resources are at your service. The best thing you can do now is relax, gain strength and learn something new. You will need all this very soon in your new life.

We turn to psychologists. We faced a big problem. We have to send our teams on vacation at their own expense (leave them without means of subsistence), we do not know what will happen tomorrow, we have nothing to rely on. We need psychological help. The whole industry: both an ordinary employee and the owner of the largest restaurant chain.

 

We turn to lawyers. If you understand our field, respond. We have the right to declare ourselves to the authorities and the government. We have the right to be heard and taken seriously. Without you, your experience and knowledge, we risk remaining a gray mass, which with a simple stroke of the pen can be forbidden to earn a living.

 

We turn to accountants and financiers. Respond. We need to come together to solve pressing problems together. Your collective decisions will save the economy of our restaurants.

 

We turn to marketers, PR specialists, designers. Help the Center to be heard and seen by everyone involved in the restaurant industry.

 

We appeal to students. You are our hope. You will revive what is now stagnant. Quarantine is not a vacation). Find strength in yourself! Learn, read, watch, communicate, gather in active groups. We will be glad to help you!

 

We turn to coaches and coaches. If you are ready to share your knowledge - respond. We can inform the community about your courses, programs, trainings. We offer us to unite, hold webinars for different categories of restaurant employees and inspire everyone.

 

We appeal to everyone who is still in March  was employed in the restaurant industry. If you are active, if you have ideas, if you are ready for teamwork, we are waiting for you. We will collect and implement any solutions that will help restaurants to survive together.
